The Cowboys were awful today!
This is the worst in-season defeat since the Cowboys lost to the 1-14 Lions to finish the 2006-07 season!
At least, that defeat did not matter. The Cowboys were headed for the playoffs and did not bring their hearts to Detroit for a meaningless game.
Today was different. This one mattered a lot: Rams 34, Cowboys 7: Dallas has a full-fledged disaster on its hands
First, Tony Romo was hurt. He broke his finger and did not play. Unfortunately, everybody else played like they had broken hands, fingers, brains and old bodies.
It stinks. What else can I say?
I couldn't watch it after the third quarter.
It got so bad that I went to the computer, turned on the radio and listened to Brad Sham describe this miserable performance.
Don't blame it on back up QB Brad Johnson.
It's true that Brad has not played much for a couple of years. He was a great quarterback 5-7 years ago. Johnson is perfect as Romo's back up. He is not very good at starting NFL games anymore.
To be fair, the Cowboys did not hire Johnson to start games! Again, don't blame this disaster on a great veteran like Johnson.
Where was the rest of the team? Why didn't the offense support QB Johnson and get the ball over the goal line? How in the world did the Cowboys' defense give up 34 points against the Rams?
The Rams are one of the worst teams in the NFL. How can the Cowboys lose to St. Louis and Arizona last week?
The Cowboys had no business losing this game.
Jerry Jones should lock the plane and force everyone to walk home or rent their own transportation back to Dallas.
The Cowboys will be topic # 1 in the local sports radio. It won't be pretty. It shouldn't be!
