Barack in Wonderland!
Last night, we heard it again: Vote for BO and everything will be just great.
The air will be pure.
The planet will heal. (Moses couldn't say it any better!)
The world will love us. (We will go back to the days of Clinton when we were attacked often, our embassies blown up and no one at the UN wanted to do anything about anything. But they will love us!)
The rich will pay their share. (95% of us will get a tax cut! BO now defines a tax cut as mailing a check to someone who does not pay taxes!)
The middle class will blossom again. (Don't we already have the world's largest middle class? Why are all of those people lining up at every US embassy around the world?)
Last, but not least, your wife won't complain anymore because you listen to the entire Cowboys' pre-game and post-game shows!
Sorry. How can so many people be so foolish? How can so many Americans be this gullible?
In Reality Check: The Cost Of Obama's Pledges, Wyatt Andrews goes point by point and reaches a simple conclusion:
"If he closes every loophole as promised, saves every dime from Iraq, raises taxes on the rich and trims the federal budget as he's promised to do "line by line," he still doesn't pay for his list.
If he's elected, the first fact hitting his desk will be the figure projecting how much less of a budget he has to work with - thanks to the recession.
He gave us a very compelling vision with his ad buy tonight.
What he did not give us was any hint of the cold reality he's facing or a sense of how he might prioritize his promises if voters trust him with the White House."
Obama's Economic Mythology By Steve Chapman puts all of BO's doom and gloom in some perspective. Believe it or not, things are not as terrible as BO is saying!
Obama is a farce and a lie. I just can't believe that so many people fall for this sort of thing!
