How to make a Dem angry? Just quote his words!

They are still having a fit over at the Dem party over Pres. Bush's speech in Israel.

Lee Cary adds this:

"When a stone is thrown into a pack of wolves, the one that yelps is the one that is hit."

Of course, all of this started in July 2007 when candidate Obama said this during a CNN debate:

"I would meet without preconditions, although Senator Clinton is right that there has to be preparation. It is very important for us to make sure that there was an agenda and on that agenda was human rights, releasing of political prisoners, opening up the press, and that preparation might take some time, but I do think that it's important for the United States not just to talk to its friends, but also to talk to its enemies."

Why is Obama going nuts because someone quoted him?

The answer lies in the last 40 of presidential elections, i.e. the Dems "national security" problem.

The Dems' real problem is that they have to move the left to win their nomination. After that, they have to move back to the center and pretend that no one heard what they told primary voters.

Today's WSJ lead editorial is right on:

"When the party's top four Democrats come roaring out of the blocks in unison, something has hit a nerve." (How to enrage a Democrat)

Yes, something hit a nerve! It's more like a nuclear bomb!
