Good day for my team of McCain-Romney

40 years ago, John McCain was a POW in Hanoi. 8 years ago he was defeated by GW Bush in South Carolina. 9 months ago he was dead in the water for the Republican nomination.

Today, McCain is the winner of the SC primary. As they say, the winner of SC has been the party nominee since Reagan won in 1980!

Why did McCain win?

First, McCain is a man of conviction. He tells you where he stands and that's it. No spin or poll reading. On Iraq, he was right from day 1.

Second, McCain is electable and that matters a lot. It matters to me because of the war on terror, judges and having a president who will make the tough (and often) unpopular calls.

Congratulations Sen. McCain. You are really amazing.

To a lesser degree, it was a great day for Gov. Romney. He won Nevada and heads to Florida where the polls show a 4 way tie.

Congratulations Gov. Romney. You are winning a lot of delegates!

McCaine won because non-Republicans voted for him...

The problem with the gop candidates is that they are out of touch. They are to invested in the war and come across like bigots on the immigration debate.

Our country is divided, americans are not feeling good about their situation, we are hated all over the world, we are broke economically.

We need a pragmatic leader, one that can reach across the political and racial divide and bring us together, that has a message of hope, that can inspire our youth. IMHO Obama is the only candidate that can deliver this type of leadership.

I've always voted republican not this time.
