Judge Sues Cleaner for $65 Million Over Pants is another sign that we are spending too much suing each other:
"Much of Pearson's case rests on two signs that Custom Cleaners once had on its walls: "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and "Same Day Service." Based on Pearson's dissatisfaction and the delay in getting back the pants, he claims the signs amount to fraud."
Over the years, all of us have had problems with dry cleaning shops or other local businesses. My philosophy has always been to settle the matter out of court. Also, I find that most of these merchants, often Oriental immigrants, are extremely good on customer service.
I think that this lawsuit is insane!
