He is a wild and crazy guy! Unfortunately, he is not Steve Martin. He is the dictator of a country that just tested a nuclear weapon.
Frivolous politics: Part II By Thomas Sowell makes an outstanding point:
"Some people say that there is no point voting because there is no difference between the two major parties, and the other parties have no chance of winning.
However, there is a difference: the Republicans are disappointing and the Democrats are dangerous."
As a Republican, I am not happy with many things going on in Washington. However, everything gets settled when I look at the alternative.
Democrats not ready to lead By Tony Blankley is more frank and to the point:
"Rarely in the annals of American politics has an opposition party been less well prepared for governance than today's congressional Democratic Party.
They have not used their decade in the wilderness constructively."
We see the Democrats' lack of seriousness on the North Korea debate. Check out The Wall Street Journal's lead editorial Poisoning the Water's Edge:
"As for the idea that direct talks between Washington and Pyongyang might open the way toward a settlement, this flatly ignores North Korea's cheating on the last such settlement, the so-called "Yongbyong Agreed Framework" of 1994."
The Democrats are plain dangerous. Frankly, I'd never thought that I would write that about an American political party!
