Air Hate America

A few days ago, I finally met someone who listens to Air America. I went to vote and I spoke with one of the Democrat poll watchers. She was a very nice lady with an "Air America" bumper sticker. So I finally met someone who actually listens to that program.

Most Americans do not. Bill O'Reiley is right on target:

"Talking Points" has said from the beginning the far-left radio cannot be successful in the USA on a national level simply because most Americans don't want to hear how bad their country is 24/7. Also the smear strategy employed on Air America goes against the basic fairness of most Americans."

The US needs a liberal alternative to Rush Limbaugh. Air America failed because it missed one key point: Limbaugh is successful because he is an excellent radio host. He is funny and entertaining. Furthermore, Limbaugh does not engage in the kind of personal attacks that Air America does.

So goodbye Al Franken. We won't miss you!
